In this role, you will:
  • Job shadow/on-the-job training, OJT of Production Engineer to understand the cable manufacturing process.
  • Understand problems of current methods of manual production data collection to improve the process flow and digitize where possible.
  • Collect and analyze shop floor data to set baseline targets for production improvement.
  • Research and hypothesize on production parameters we wish to improve.
  • Be closely involved in one or two projects relating to the factory’s productivity or digitalization efforts.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

  • Respectful to colleagues

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Open to new challenges and learning opportunities
  • Basic understanding of industrial control and automation, power systems and PLC systems
  • Comfortable working with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Basic programming skills will be a plus: Python, SQL database
