Data Engineer

About the role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide the technical drive on the company’s i4.0 digitalization and automation plans. 

  • Analyse departments’ digitalisation requirements and reduce digital waste through the use of programming or software. 

  • Help to drive digitization / digitalization efforts for data analysis on key operational metrics; to increase operational capacity, efficiency, productivity and manpower utilisation. 

  • Design and build data solutions that support the company's data and analytics strategy in driving business insights. 

  • Work closely with ERP, MES and other technology vendors to implement and support the company’s implementations. 

Job Requirements

  • Team player 

  • A willingness to understand user requirements in detail 

  • Able to problem solve in a structured and systematic manner 

  • Good verbal and written communication skills 

  • Open to new challenges and learning opportunities 

  • Diploma/Degree in computer science or other related fields 

  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure 

  • Experience in clustering, and tuning the databases for performance and reliability 

  • Good understanding of industrial control and automation, power systems and PLC systems 

  • Understanding of data governance, data security and data analytics 

  • Basic programming skills will be a plus: Python, SQL database 

 

Data Engineer Intern

  • Analyze departments' digitalization requirements and reduce digital waste through the use of programming or software
  • Help to drive digitalization/digitalization efforts for data analysis on key operational metrics; efficiency, productivity and manpower ultilization
  • Work closely with technology vendors to implement and support the company's implementations.

Job Requirements

  •  Team player
